United Kingdom and Ireland
After two earlier trips to London, we joined a tour that would allow us to see parts of England. That took us to Stonehenge and Bath. The first of two new countries were added to the list as we moved into Wales. We crossed into Ireland, where there was a tour of the Waterford Crystal factory. We added another country by crossing into Northern Ireland, and then it was another ferry crossing into Scotland and on to Edinburgh. By extending the tour, which we left in York, we saw a little bit more, including Stockton-on-Tees, where Barbara made another genealogical connection, and Oxford, where we had lunch with Avery and his mum, Emma Tucker, a houseguest nine years earlier when she was in the States.
